The next Round the Island Race will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

These trophies celebrate the Key Biscayne Yacht Club's Round the Island Race—a fun, competitive annual event tracing the shores of Key Biscayne.
This race was conceived in 1966 by Past Commodore Edward "Ed" Willman and Ray Sullivan - its enduring legacy honors Ed Willman's passion for sailing and community. The display features the original Commodore Ed Willman Memorial Trophy, and four beautiful Retired Trophies, celebrating past victories using the PHRF handicapping system.
Be sure to look closely at the Bombing Banshees Medallion Plaque—it tells a fascinating story of a World War II medallion lost for over 20 years in Hurricane Andrew and later recovered right here in Biscayne Bay!
Don't miss the next thrilling race coming up soon on Saturday, November 15, 2025!
