This plaque commemorates the silver medal victory of Kevin Burnham and Morgan Reeser at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, where they represented the United States in the Men's 470 Class. With fierce winds and fierce competition in the Mediterranean, the duo sailed with precision, courage, and unbreakable partnership to finish on the Olympic podium.

Their campaign was powered in part by the support of the Key Biscayne Yacht Club, where both sailors were named Honorary Members. The bond endured beyond medals - Morgan Reeser would go on to devote countless volunteer hours coaching KBYC youth sailors, offering clinics and mentorship that shaped future generations. His quiet leadership and committment to the Corinthian spirit remain part of the Club's soul.

Kevin Burnham, deeply admired and a lifelong advocate for Olympic sailing, remained an active Honorary Member of KBYC until his passing in 2020. This silver medal plaque is not just a tribute to victory—but to the values of sportsmanship, mentorship, and enduring club legacy.
